The Moment of Awakening ….
There is no more important moment for a man or a woman than when they encounter a Holy God for the first time. This first encounter is really our first encounter, but in truth the Holy Spirit had long been brooding and stirring in our lives, in an external and internal sense, calling and inviting our hearts to come home.
The Fascinating Future
Our attitude to the future is ambiguous, a mixture of fear and fascination. We want to know what is going to happen to us and the rest of the human race — and we don’t want to know! Were it possible, which one of us would wish to learn the date of our death or the end of the world?
